This home is situated in the Point Grey area. It is on a major bus line and is within walking distance to a comprehensive shopping area. By car, UBC can be reached in less than ten minutes, downtown Vancouver takes about fifteen minutes in normal traffic conditions.
The house is on a large, landscaped lot, looking out over views of the ocean, mountains and the city’s skyline. The accommodations are on two floors. This home has three bedrooms, a den, two bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room and a deck.
The two large master bedrooms have excellent views. One has a queen size bed, the other a double. The smaller bedroom has excellent views as well and has a single bed. The two larger rooms have flat screen TV, comprehensive cable connection. Linens/towels are provided.
Both bathrooms have a shower/tub combination, sink and toilet. One is on the top floor and the other is on the main floor.
The den has a futon sofa bed and small TV.
The small bedroom on the top floor has a single bed, bureau, desk and excellent views of water, mountains and the city.
The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with utensils, china and cutlery. It is adjacent to a large dining area. The dining area has an oval, pine table (comfortably seats six), and a sound system enclosed in an antique cabinet.
The living room, just off the dining area, is large and very comfortable. It has a natural gas fireplace and some plants (must be watered).
The décor in the dining room, living room and entrance area have been remodeled yet retain the flavour of the home’s original 1930’s design. There are panoramic views of the mountains, water, and city from the main rooms of the first floor. Wireless internet is provided. Full laundry facilities are included.
